ABOUT CAPES COACHING

Founded by Betsy and Jodie Capes in April 2004, Capes Coaching has earned its reputation as an industry leader by presenting a radically different way of approaching artistic careers, benefitting thousands of actors, artists, and creative professionals. Rather than provide you with stock answers or marketing pointers, the coaches at Capes know that there is no formula or “one right way” to achieve personal success. Our philosophy is built upon the foundation that artists have needs that are unique to who they are and what they want, and that only by gaining clarity around those first, can they create a plan of action to reach their goals. Going against the industry trend of one-size-fits-all, quick-fix solutions, the Capes Coaching method stresses awareness before action and emphasizes long-term, sustainable careers in the arts.

Capes Coaching's mission is to empower actors and artists by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to take control of their careers. We know that 99% of the business is out of your control - but you can do amazing things if you focus on the 1% that is in your control. Clients will learn about goal setting, strategic planning, mindset, networking, life/career balance and more, helping you create opportunities that result in meetings, jobs, completion of projects and achieving your life goals. No lectures, just smart and eye-opening one-on-one learning that works for you.
